This workshop covers the development of web content for usage in SAS Viya platform.
The installers and administrators learn how to configure a SAS Viya environment to enable development and deployment of custom web applications. The consultants learn how to develop custom web applications which can consume data from SAS Viya and integrate with SAS Viya ecosystem. It exposes the techniques to integrate custom web applications for integration in SAS Visual Analytics through Data-Driven Content object and to expose SAS Viya data in standalone custom web applications using SAS Viya SDKs, SAS Viya Jobs and SAS REST APIs.
Hands-on exercises help build experience to configure SAS Viya environment and the web developer environment, to use the SAS provided Software Development Kits for Visual Analytics, Content and Conversation Designer as well as web technologies based on HTML and JavaScript (NodeJS, React, jQuery) while developing custom web applications.
